this is awesome. i get what you are saying you know. it's difficult becoming what god has really intended, and really all we have to do is rest in him, that's really hard when things like that take over in one part of the balanced life of a part timer.
congrats on getting the hizzy on the wizzy or whatever.

Oh My Lord.....Cajes watched this with me just now and immediately said "Mom, who has sisters?? Why don't we have sisters?? I want sisters...and brudders" And then noted that he "didn't see Jesus on Olive's cross." And then when he saw me writing to comment he wanted to make sure you told Olive: "it was so cool that she was looking at the cross in the shadow when she was dancing. She's cute." Then announced "I hope she's still gonna be a Doctor one day and I'll be a Speedracer, and she can bring the cross to the racetrack."
P.S. Husbands can be easily persuaded to do things they don't normally do when a Bang Bang shrimp is shoved in their mouth. ;)

Oh my goodness! That video is so hilarious. It took me a sec to realise Olive was turned that way dancing so she could see her shadow. And Lucie with those shirts! Then there is Finn just crawling around like without taking notice of the girls at all.

And I love the pictures! How do you make the color like that?

thank you for your in depth analysis of all this, it did help my "get out of the grocery store fast as i can mentality"......a bit. I just don't know how you do all if this.

I have been cutting coupons in the sunday paper, inspired by you and Sunday. That, i feel great about.

Jessie, I too admire your dedication to saving money. I realized something was going on when I stayed at your house over Thanksgiving and saw the incredible stockpile of cleaning products over your washer/dryer. I thought perhaps you were starting a cleaning company. These posts explain everything. But do you realize how much you sound like dad when you say you can't buy anything that's not on sale and without a coupon. There's no escaping the influence!

I made my attempt on the coupon idea and learned ever-so quickly that I cannot do it with 3 kids in tow at the store.

I have my little file folder from my mom though.... and have started collecting and now maybe I can try again with the inspiration in this post.

OK, so I start reading this post, and I'm like, no way, you're going to out yourself on the coupon book! (NOT because I think it's such an embarrasing thing, but because of the look on your face when I found you with it.) :) So my nerdy admission would be that I, too, am a coupon queen with my own little book.
